Antioxidant, UV Absorber, OBA, Pigment for ABS
ABS is an abbreviation of Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene which chemical formula (C8H8)x· (C4H6)y· (C3H3N)z) is a common thermoplastic polymer.
ABS is a terpolymer made by polymerizing styrene and acrylonitrile in the presence of polybutadiene. The proportions can vary from 15 to 35% acrylonitrile, 5 to 30% butadiene and 40 to 60% styrene.
Key Features: impact resistance, high stiffness, resistance to oil, low temperature and chemical corrosion, electrical performances, easy to process, economic prices.
Main Applications: ABS is widely used in E&E, instruments, automotive, constructions and building industries.

Things to know when choosing pigment for ABS
1. High heat resistance, weather fastness, and hiding power is required when coloring ABS. Inorganic pigment of titanium dioxide, cadmium, iron oxide red, ultramarine, carbon dioxide. and organic pigment of phthalocyanine, quinacridone are used.
2. Due to rubber content in ABS, uneven is an issue when coloring, to offset, a higher concentration of pigment which normally 2% is used in ABS.
