Application
BX PUR 70 is particularly suitable for stabilizing polyols used in the manufacture of PUR flexible foams. Since PUR 70 has a negligible impact on emissions, it can be used in flexible foams across a wide range of densities in automotive applications. Due to its excellent resistance to gas fading and extremely low photochromic properties, PUR 70 can be used in applications where foam whiteness is critical.BX UV PUR 70 can also be used in combination with other antioxidants, co-stabilizers (e.g. phosphites) and/or light stabilizers (e.g. hindered amine light stabilizers (HALS), UVA).
BX UV PUR 70 has good anti-scorch, anti-fog and anti-textile staining properties.
It is an amine-free, aromatic solvent-free heat stabilizer that provides extremely low VOC and FOG contributions and reduces aldehyde emissions from polyols and PU foams, meeting the latest automotive emission requirements (e.g. VDA27810111). In addition, it provides excellent foam resistance to discoloration after gas and/or light exposure.
BX UV 70 is a pourable liquid that enables dust-free handling, automatic dosing, and reduced mixing times. It increases productivity by reducing weighing and metering into one operation.
