UV Tinuvin 866
BASF Tinuvin PUR 866
Tinuvin 866 is typically used at levels between 0.1% and 2.0% depending on the substrate and processing conditions. UV 866 can be used alone or in combination with other functional additives such as antioxidants, drugs (hindered phenols, phosphites) and HALS light stabilizers, often synergistic performance is observed. Performance data for UV 866 is available for various applications.
Handling and Safety:
For additional handling and toxicological information, please consult us for Maternal Safety Date Sheet.
25kg/plastic bag, 500 kg per pallets. Non-dangerous goods
UV 866 provides excellent UV stability for polyurethane systems. The increased potency compared to conventional UV stabilizer systems is particularly pronounced in clear or light-colored TPU applications. UV 866 can also be used on other polymers such as polyamides as well as other engineering plastics including aliphatic polyketones, styrene homopolymers as well as copolymers, elastomers, TPE, TPV and epoxy resins as well as polyolefins and other organic substrates.
