Specification

Appearance: White powder.
Calcium: 4 ± 0.5%
Acid value:<15mg KOH/g

Application

Nucleating agent BX NA 102 is a long-chain saturated linear calcium salt of acrylate.  it has excellent nucleating and lubricating effects in various injection molding grade polyamines (PA) Nylon, and can also be used in Food contact materials; in PA injection molding applications, it can shorten the injection molding cycle by about 25%: it can be used in polyoxymethylene (POM) and polyolefin resins to neutralize the acidic substances in the resin, prevent the resin from accelerating aging, and be compatible with calcium stearate Compared with other materials, BX NA 102 is special as an acid absorbent because of its low volatility, even at high temperatures. It also has excellent thermal stability, low volatility, and color stability, and can provide excellent nucleation effect and lubricating release effect.

Suggested dosage level of 0.2-0.5%, Dry blend for at least 10 minutes (the speed at 1000 RPM) to make sure of even distribution.

It is recommended to use a twin-screw extruder or a single-screw granulator with a high-intensity mixing capacity. Good dispersion will help improve the dispersion performance of TMN-102. Extrusion temperature and process parameters are set according to the conventional matrix resin processing process without excessive adjustment

Handling and storage

Nucleating agent BX NA 102  shall be stocked In a ventilated and dry environment, the shelf life is two years. 20 kg/ bag. Conditions of transport for non-hazardous products.
