Polymer Processing Aids are free-flowing additives made of modified fluoro-elastomer which improve the processing of polyolefin resin at very low levels of usage. Fluoropolymers PPAs & Non-Fluorine PPAs(PFAS Free PPA)
The majority of polymer processing aids are fluoropolymer PPAs, while now due to the EU restriction proposal on PFAS Substances, fluoropolymer PPAs belongs to PFAS Substances, and it’s a big challenge to PPA manufacturer such as 3M and others. Baoxu Chemical takes that challenge and here we introduce our latest PFAS Free PPAs, BX PPA S100, BX PPA S200, without fluoropolymers to replace PFAS ppa.

PPA Processing Guideline：
- Typical dosage 0.02% -0.1%
- Dispersion is critical for good performance
- 20-60 minutes of conditioning time
- 2-5% concentration masterbatch to have good dispersion or direct addition during polymer pelletization
- Twin screw extruders
- Sufficient mixing screw elements to avoid heavy shear
