UV Absorber
As one category of UV stabilizer additive, UV absorber is also known as an ultraviolet absorber, or UVA.
They are additives that preferentially absorb UV radiation in a coating and transform the UV energy into longer wavelength energy. A group of chemical compositions that protect the coating film, transparent or semi-transparent films, and the substrate from photo-degradation. The combination of UV Absorber with HALS is highly synergistic.
