Introduction to Zinc sulfide
Zinc sulfide BX ZNS is a high-end product produced with new technology. It is an important II-VI semiconductor material. During the plastic processing, it will not damage the glass fiber like titanium dioxide and retain the reinforcing effect of the glass fiber. Moreover, the surface is organically modified, and the particle size is concentrated and nearly spherical, so even at a high addition, it still has excellent rheology and dispersibility and can avoid the brittleness of the plastic. Zinc sulfide does not have a photocatalytic effect like titanium dioxide, but can also anchor metal ions with catalytic effects to prevent these ions from entering the polymer lattice to produce catalytic degradation, which can improve the weather resistance of plastics.

Recommended for infrared optical imaging equipment, paint and plastic, optical coating, and laser coating film anti-counterfeiting logo, ceramics, luminous signs and additives for automotive brake pads.
Application of zinc sulfide in plastics
High-purity zinc sulfide has better temperature resistance. Used in special engineering plastics such as PTFE, PPO, PSU, PEEK, PI, PPS, LCP, etc., to better play the special plastics’ high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, high strength and other properties, and extend the service life of the products. Zinc sulfide is not corroded in the pH range of 4-12, and is insoluble in water and solvents. It has high purity and does not contain trace elements, and can be widely used in high temperature resistant and high performance plastics.
Application of zinc sulfide in lubrication
As a metal sulfide material, the application of zinc sulfide in grease products is mainly concentrated on its role as a solid lubricant. Zinc sulfide has good lubrication properties, especially under harsh working conditions such as high temperature, high pressure and low speed and high load, which can improve the bearing capacity, anti-wear and friction reduction properties of grease.
Application of zinc sulfide in coatings
Zinc sulfide also has good thermal conductivity. When used in coatings, it keeps the coating temperature consistent and avoids cracking. In the white pigment UV curing coating system, due to its low UV absorption rate, more UV light can be shot into the coating, reducing the curing time, improving efficiency and reducing costs.
