Vanadium catalyst
Introduction
The primary catalyst for the oxidation of sulfur dioxide (SO2) to sulfur trioxide (SO3) is vanadium pentoxide (V2O5), used in the industrial production of sulfuric acid. Vanadium catalysts are favored because they provide a balance between reaction rate and yield, as the SO2 oxidation reaction is exothermic, with high temperatures favoring the reaction rate but lowering the overall yield.

Besides, the state-of-the-art reduction process makes it stronger in activity and thermal stability and different types, such as cylindrical, quincunx, ring, prism, and hexagon, apply to all types of sulphuric acid converters. The main use of CMC’s emulsification and protective colloid properties is to generate anions during the washing process, which can make the surface of the washed object and the dirt particles negatively charged at the same time. In this way, the dirt particles have phase separation in the water phase and repel the surface of the solid phase washed object, preventing the dirt from re-depositing on the washed object, which can keep the whiteness of white fabrics and the color of colored fabrics bright.
