Low volatility, strong UV absorption, high temperature resistance, light color and transparency.
Applications:
> UV 1600 is an ultraviolet light absorber (UVA) of the hydroxyphenyl triazine class exhibiting very low volatility, high absorption, and good compatibility with a variety of polymers, analogous to basf tinuvin 1600.
UV 1600 allows polycarbonates, polyesters, and acrylics to achieve a higher resistance to weathering than conventional hydroxyphenyl triazine like UV 1577/1164, benzotriazole like UV P/ 326/329/234 or cyanoacrylate, like UV 312 UV absorbers.
> UV 1600 is recommended for PMMA, PC, PBT, PPE, PATs, PA, SAN, ASA plastics, and its alloys, especially for thin-layer and film products.
> Recommended dosage: 0.1-0.5%
