Feature
Antioxidant PEP-36 has high steric hindrance around the phosphorus atom and excellent hydrolytic stability. Adding this product to polymers improves processing stability and effectively inhibits discoloration caused by heat and UV rays, improving the color of the polymer during processing. It also improves thermal stability, minimizing polymer degradation during processing, and enhances the polymer’s resistance to smoke fading in many applications.
Compared to other bisphosphite antioxidants like 168/626, this product has a higher phosphorus content. Due to its high performance and low input requirements, it can be formulated into more efficient formulations. This product exhibits minimal thermal decomposition, reaching 300°C at a TGA of 1%. It also exhibits excellent heat resistance, minimizing surface deterioration in finished products.
