Introduction

Stearamide is a medium waxy solid. It does not dissolve in water and slightly solves in organic solvent under normal temperature. Its flash point is 205℃. It has good boundary lubrication and release property, which can enhance dispersion effect for dye and pigment. It has good intermiscibility and adhesiveness with resin, and it is permitted to be applicant to food and drug packaging material.

 

Application

Stearamide can be used as slipping agent and release agent for plastic material including rubber, electric cable, shoe material, PVC, polyolefin and polystyrene and melamine resin. It can attach good apparent property to products and enhance dispersing effect of colorant. This product is also an ideal additive for coating, and it can be used as raw material for softening agent for texile fabric.
