Product Description
- TBC features excellent thermal stability, high whiteness, low volatile content, and light processing color, making it particularly suitable for flame retardant modification of thermoplastics such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS), PVC, HIPS , ABS, and EVA .
- Rubber: Various synthetic rubbers (such as SBR, BR). Btter heat resistance, UV resistance, blooming resistance than Methyl Octabromoether(cas 97416-84-7).

Application
4.1 This product must be used in conjunction with antimony trioxide (Sb₂O₃);
4.2. Depending on the material type and flame retardant rating requirements, the general addition amount is 5%-20%, and the specific addition amount needs to be determined. Adjustments are made based on the thickness, raw material grade, and equipment process.
4.3 It is recommended that the mass ratio of flame retardant to antimony trioxide be 3:1~4 ;
4.4 For formulations containing fillers such as talc and calcium carbonate, the dosage needs to be appropriately increased ;
Processing Guidelines
5.1 Drying
Normally, drying is not required. If the packaging is opened and the product becomes damp, it is recommended to air dry it at 80-90℃ for 1-2 hours.
5.2 Recommended processing temperature (PP injection molding)

5.3 Precautions
- Color remains stable during normal injection molding cycles .
- It is recommended to avoid prolonged downtime (material should be removed if downtime exceeds 5 minutes).
- It is recommended to use it in conjunction with a dispersant (such as EBS, polysiloxane, etc.) to improve dispersibility and resistance to precipitation.
- It is not recommended to use with chlorine-containing pigments or phthalocyanine-based color powders, as this may affect the flame retardant effect.
