Antioxidant BX AO DPP

Introduction

Antioxidant BX AO DPP chemical name Diphenyl Phosphite, is a dialkyl phosphite that can be used to improve the color of unsaturated polyesters and pvc.

Application:

Antioxidant DPP is not only an excellent catalyst for esterification but also provides superior color protection performance in the polymer synthesis process.
DPP is a phosphite processing stabilizer, it can be widely applied as a non-stain & non-discoloration stabilizer and antioxidant due to its more rapid decomposition capacity of peroxide. With elastomers, adhesives, engineering plastics, synthetic resins, mineral oil and other organic matrices, it can improve the color and brightness of the products. Antioxidant DPP also can improve the plate-out performance of PVC products.

Advantages: Highest phosphorus content (14.2%), providing superior instantaneous yellowing suppression, resulting in excellent color for high-transparency parts processed at low temperatures.

Contains P-H active hydrogen, offering dual benefits of antioxidant and free radical scavenging, significantly enhancing the effect when combined with hindered phenols.

Extremely low viscosity, best flowability, suitable for high-speed extrusion, thin products, and coating/ink dilution.

Lowest unit price, low-cost base material for compounding.

Dual benzene rings provide strong passivation ability for metal ions, inhibiting copper and iron catalytic discoloration.

Disadvantages: Worst hydrolytic stability; rapidly hydrolyzes to phenol and phosphorous acid upon contact with trace amounts of moisture, easily causing blooming, whitening, and subsequent yellowing.

Low boiling point; significant volatilization at temperatures above 200℃, producing a pungent phenol odor and severely exceeding VOC limits.

Poor storage stability; prone to oxidation and discoloration when exposed to open conditions, resulting in a short shelf life.

Extremely high migration rate; film and sponge will leach out over long-term use; cannot be used in water immersion, humid heat, or automotive interiors.

Suitable for: Low-temperature, short-term rigid transparent PVC, coatings and inks, dry material sealed processing.

Not suitable for: PU foam, automotive interiors, medical/food, outdoor, high-humidity products.
