BX UV NOR 371

Introduction

BX UV NOR 371 is a high molecular weight hindered amine NOR stabilizer. It is an excellent light and thermal stabilizer and is particularly well suited for applications in contact with chemicals( pesticides, insecticides, soil disinfection agents, and Halogenated FR), like agricultural products, such as greenhouse and mulch films or nonwovens.Analog to BASF Tinuvin NOR 371.

Chemical Name:

 N,N’-bis(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-1-propoxyl-4-piperidinyl)-polymer with 2,4,6-trichloro-1,3,5-triazine,reaction products with N-butyl-1-butanamine and N-butyl-2,2,6,6-tetramethyl–1-propoxyl-4piperidinamine

Features:

1.Minimal color contribution.
2.Low volatility.
3.Excellent compatibility with other HALS and UVA.

4.Good solubility/migration balance.
5.provides UV and thermal stability as well as flame retardant efficacy to polyolefin.
6.high chemical resistance to acids , agricultural chemicals, pesticides, insecticides, soil disinfection agents, and Halogenated FR, due to pKa ≈4.1.
7.Provides long term thermal stability in PE useful where agricultural films are in contact with frames like wood, iron, aluminum and in PP/TPO at 150° C.
8.acts as a flame retardant in Polyolefin applications. It shows flame retardancy efficacy in polyolefin fibers, nonwovens and films at concentrations as low as 1%.
