Introduction

Octadecyl Erucamide has good lubricity and medium smoothness. It has excellent thermostability, which can be used during processing plastic(resin) under 310℃. Its dosage is increased along with continuously increased high temperature resistance polymer. It is more useful for casting film on engineering plastic. It is migrated from the surface of polypropylene copolymer, not from the core layer of polypropylene homopolymer, which is permitted to be used for food container and packing(GB 9685-2008).

Application

It can be used as lubricant, anti-sticking agent and release agent for resin including polyolefin, nylon (PA) and polyester(PET, PBT) ; It is more applicable to compound and multilayer co-extrusion production process, as well as calendering package plastic sealed package. It is used as effective anti-sticking and slip agent on cellulose, polyolefin, ethylene/propylene, ethylene/vinyl copolymer, polyethylene polymers and copolymers; used as high temperature resistance release agent, lubricant, friction regulator agent(friction coefficient can be controlled between 0.25-0.45 for Engineering plastics.
