Bitres is a white crystalline powder or granule, odorless, extremely bitter, and its melting point is 163 to 170°C.  It is soluble in water and easily soluble in ethanol, ethylene glycol and propylene glycol. etc. Denatonium Benzoate starts to decompose when processing temperature over 180°C, we suggest user to use

Denatonium Saccharide, which can withstand higher temperatures.

Tests

Application:

The product is the best denaturant for alcohols and the world’s bitterest known substance.  and because it is so bitter that it is commonly added to cosmetics as a bitter &aversive agent to prevent accidental poisonings.  Aversive agent for cosmetics, hairdressing, and hair care products. Such as hair spray, hair dye, nail polish, eyelash pomade, essence lotion, toning lotion, sunscreen, perfume, anti-aging hydrating mask etc..

Also, it can be used as an anti-rodent and anti-termites additive and used in plastics like cable sheathing materials at present (e.g., LSZH, PVC, PE, etc.),

4% of the maximum historical usage of resident products.
