Introduction

BX UV 400W is an emulsion of a hydroxyphenyl triazine (HPT) UV absorber for waterborne coatings and paint. It is recommended where the most common waterborne UV Stabilizers, BX UV 1130 and BX UV 292 is not applicable, such as for coating material that carries acidic catalysts, transition metal ions, etc. In addition, it has long-lasting photo permanence and is therefore the best choice for waterborne coatings that require long-term UV protection and weather durability.

Applications:

It is recommended for waterborne formulations used for coil coatings, wood coatings, refinish coatings, and many kinds of industrial coatings, such as 1 K polyurethane dispersion, Waterborne alkyd, Waterborne melamine-based crosslinker.
