UV Tinuvin 866

Introduction

UV 866 is a high-performance UV stabilizer designed for use in polyurethane systems (eg TPU, CASE, RIM flexible foam applications). UV 866 is particularly effective in thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and can also be used in polyurethane-coated floors on tarpaulins as well as in synthetic leather.
Application field
UV 866 provides excellent UV stability for polyurethane systems. The increased potency compared to conventional UV stabilizer systems is particularly pronounced in clear or light-colored TPU applications. UV 866 can also be used on other polymers such as polyamides as well as other engineering plastics including aliphatic polyketones, styrene homopolymers as well as copolymers, elastomers, TPE, TPV and epoxy resins as well as polyolefins and other organic substrates.
